When reporting your claim to the insurance carrier directly, they will take down information pertaining to the claim and get an adjuster assigned. In many cases, they will tell you your claim number for future reference, as well as who the adjuster is and how to reach them.
Your insurance carrier will notify Kapnick Insurance Group of your claim in order to keep us informed and allow us to act on your behalf to resolve any questions you may have.
The insurance company adjuster will contact you to process the loss. If appropriate, they may want to schedule an appointment to view the damaged property.
If you encounter any problems, contact your Kapnick Claims Advocate immediately. They will act as an advocate between you and the insurance carrier. They represent only you, and will work diligently to solve any claims problems that may arise.
