Medicare is the federal health insurance program for people who are age 65 or older or  younger people with certain specified disabilities.

The basic components of Medicare are Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance).  Both Parts A and B include a deductible, coinsurance and other “gaps” in coverage which, if not supplemented, could result in significant out of pocket costs to Medicare beneficiaries.  These gaps may, however, be filled in with supplemental insurance products which are represented by Kapnick Insurance Group.

Kapnick Insurance Group will assist you in understanding the basics of Medicare and evaluating the supplemental products which are available to you when you reach age 65.  These products include:

  • Medigap plans
  • Part D (Prescription Drug) plans
  • Medicare Advantage plans

Kapnick Insurance Group will assist in selecting the supplemental products which will best address your medical needs in retirement.   We represent the products of several insurance carriers and will evaluate these products based upon cost, benefit design, provider networks (doctors and hospitals) and customer service.
